StudioLAB is one of Canada's oldest loudspeaker manufacturers.  Started in 1972 in East York Ontario, a suburb of Toronto, StudioLAB has seen many changes in the audio industry over the past three decades.  The company has observed many changes in the audio industry from vinyl to cassette, CD's and MP3's, DVD's and Blue Ray.  Also witnessed was the gradual move in the late 80's and early 90's away from dedicated hi fidelity stereo to multi channel home theatre.  For the first time, anyone could incorporate movies into their home stereo systems and create a professional theatre experience right in their own home.  We're excited and intrigued to see what the future holds in store for our industry.

Over the years the company has strived to meet each of these demanding changes, continuing to offer large speakers for those who still want to "feel" the  music as well  as offering custom home theatre systems.  Of course, for the audiophile we have the Reference Series.

StudioLAB loudspeakers are still made by hand in Canada, not the Far East unlike most, if not all, of our competitors.  We realize that by continuing to manufacture here it helps to support our local economy and allows us to maintain a level of quality control not possible otherwise.

Our move to the "905" area will enable customers moving to the "less crowded" north east of Toronto to enjoy the same high level of service previously enjoyed without a stressful drive 'back' into the city.
